    Mikrotik adalah sistem operasi berbasis text yang digunakan untuk membangun sebuah router dengan komputer pribadi. Dengan sistem operasi ini kita bisa melakukan administrasi pada jaringan sehingga kontrol pada jaringan bisa dilakukan dengan sistem operasi ini. Pada kesempatan ini saya akan berbagi langkah konfigurasi mikrotik router yang berbasis text. Karena Mikrotik bisa kita konfigurasi dengan 2 cara, yaitu: dengan perintah dasar untuk mikrotik atau bisa juga menggunakan winbox. Berikut adalah perintah dasar untuk konfigurasi mikrotik:

    1. Mengganti nama mikrotik

        system identity set name=nama_mikrotik

    2. Mengganti nama interface
    Untuk mikrotik nama default untuk interfacenya adalah ether1 dan ether2, sehingga untuk mengganti nama interface tersebut kita bisa menggunakan perintah

        interface set 0 name=nama_mikrotuk _yang_baru_untuk _ether1
        interface set 1 name=nama_mikrotuk _yang_baru_untuk _ether2

    untuk menampilkan interface, kita bisa menggunakan perintah berikut " interface pr"

    3. Memberi ip address pada mikrotik
    Untuk memberi ip address pada mikrotik kita bisa menggunakan perintah dibawah ini:

        ip address add address=10.10.10.1 netmask=255.0.0.0 interface=ether1

    Catatan:
    sesuaikan ip address yang akan di setting
    interfacenya sesuaikan pada interface ether1 dan ether2
    untuk menampilkan ip address yang sudah disetting ketikkan perintah "ip address pr"

    4. Memberi gateway pada mikrotik

        ip route add gateway=192.168.1.1

    ip gateway sesuaikan dengan ip yang anda inginkan sebagai gateway pada jaringan tersebut

    5. Memberikan DNS pada mikrotik
    Ada 2 DNS yang harus di setting pada mikrotik yaitu primary DNS dan secondary DNS, untuk setting DNS pada mikrotik dengan menggunakan perintah:

        ip dns set primary-dns=202.134.1.10 allow-remote-request=yes
        ip dns set secondary-dns=202.134.0.155 allow-remote-request=yes

    untuk menampilkan hasil dns yang sudah di setting gunakan perintah "ip dns pr"
